modern Family bathrooms | San francisco, ca
In this project, my clients faced a unique challenge of living in a home with only one bathroom on the top floor and a young daughter’s room next door. The primary bathroom had an awkward layout that felt cramped, and the space was not utilizing its full potential. Additionally, the need for a second bathroom arose due to the growing family’s need for privacy, particularly with the daughter’s room so close by.

The renovation aimed to transform the primary bathroom into a spacious, colorful, and inviting retreat. We sought to make the most of the available space while bringing in natural light and creating a fresh, modern feel with an updated color scheme and functional layout. By cleverly incorporating an alcove, we were able to fit a full bathroom in the daughter’s room—giving her the privacy she needed while allowing the parents to reclaim their personal space.

The result is a bright, well-organized primary bathroom and a stylish secondary bathroom that elevates the entire top floor’s functionality and design. My clients now enjoy a home that feels more spacious and private, with vibrant, stylish spaces that reflect their family’s needs and aesthetics.
