Living in a vignette | San francisco, ca
When I first met with these clients, they handed me one of the most eclectic and delightful design briefs I’ve ever received. Their wish list included everything from 1950s Caribbean whimsy and animal motifs (her), to 1920s New York library, Beaux Arts, and industrial influences (him).

With over 800 first edition books, a well-loved cat named Gracie, and a lifetime of meaningful travel finds, they gave me an incredible foundation to work from. Every corner of this home became an opportunity to build layered vignettes and celebrate their richly personal style.

Over the course of a year, we transformed the space—painting, wallpapering, and zhuzhing every inch. The result is a true “living vignette,” curated to reflect their story, passions, and beautifully eclectic aesthetic.
