First-time homeowners reached out after purchasing a condo in Mill Valley, CA—just as they were preparing to welcome twin boys. What began as a simple two-bathroom remodel quickly evolved into a full renovation, including a complete kitchen gut and reconfiguration, new recessed lighting throughout, and exposed beam details in the living room and primary bedroom. We also added ceiling fans in both bedrooms and the main living space for added comfort and functionality.

Their vision: a spa-like, clean, contemporary interior with a cohesive flow from room to room. Our goal was to bring calm and clarity into every space while maximizing function for their growing family.

This project, like so many others in 2020, came with unexpected turns. After an initial delay due to shelter-in-place orders, construction kicked off in August. Halfway through, with the realities of remote work and extended time at home settling in, the clients made the decision to list the home and pursue a different living arrangement.

We wrapped up the renovation before the end of the year, transforming the condo into a serene, market-ready space with high-end finishes and broad appeal.
